New Age Chenille Questions

PLEASE answer any of these questions that you can.

1 Who, besides Grandpa Bob, has a large selection of New Age Chenille?

2 Skiptomylu, would you send me your list again? I can’t find it from the last time. Also what size do you use?

3 I am colorblind, (red and green) so, please go to the Fish Stalker website, or potentbidness.com, click on Crappie Fishing and the first picture will be Slab Tail jig bodies. The next to the bottom body in the first column is “Ugly Green.” FS819. This is our go-to lure on our lake. They will hit this color when they won’t hit anything else. What New Age Chenille comes closest to matching this color?

This looks chartreuse with black specs to me. Woods and Water has a Chartreuse Pepper chenille, Skip has also has something similar if I remember right. Most have more black in them then the bait you referenced. Might be good to just get a chartreuse chenille and then put a black sharpie marker dot in some places. :dono

Thanks Dave. I looked at Woods And Water and didn’t find anything called Chartreuse and Pepper. They only have 20 options to choose from. Very limited selection. I don’t think the number of black spots would matter as long as the green is a close match for “Ugly Green.” The Slab Tail Jigs all have a random number of flakes. Some more, some less. Doesn’t seem to matter to the fish. Hopefully, Skip will have something. I really appreciate you giving an answer. Thanks.

Here is the Chartreuse Pepper. Must have not looked at everything, they have 89 chenille's just in custom chenille section. More in other sections. Good luck.

Another choice on suppliers with a large assortment of chenilles is Nimrods Tackle. He says if you don't see what you looking for, just ask. And I agree with Super Dave on the color...Chartreuse and pepper.

Woods and waters outdoors has a nice selection of medium and large as well as skeins along with pictures and are in stock. A lot of places are out of stock waiting on more.

When I click on Custom Chenille, I get 5 rows with 4 pics to a row, and then other stuff with no way to go to a 2nd page. Sure wish I knew how to see the rest of what they have. Do they have Blue Moon?

Just whipped this up quickly and only wrapped chenille with no tail. Could easily be adjusted with less black. I’ll work on a complete jig this weekend.

Does anyway have a fix for my problem with the Woods And Water website? Sure would like to see the rest of their colors.

Could anyone suggest a site that sells both Chartreuse and Pepper and Blue Moon? The light blue, don’t remember the name but it’s a pale blue or ice blue color.
