2022 Lab Work

Figured it was time to kill the 2021 thread and start a 2022 one.

1st jig heads this year are:

1/16oz freestyle w/size 6 Mustad 2x Ultra Points.

Color combos are:

Pink base coat with candy pink top coat and blue eyes, candy orange with lime green eyes, clear coat over unpainted head with green eyes and disco silver with candy orange pinched on top with green eyes. Really like the pop the candy pink gives the pink head. My pinks will start to be this way.

Yep, I love the transparent blue and just painted some for a neighbor.

I need a lot more candy colors too. I was asleep behind the wheel on them for years. That blue candy on top of disco silver you’re referring to is one of my favorites.

Attachment 415910 Here is Transparent Candy Blue, The bottom one is single coat, middle is White under blue and top is two coats. They do bring out their own distinction over the regular colors. Oh and thanks for the idea of using blades to have color samples. Pretty handy.
