Just looking for those perfect color combos,,,I’ll be tying until spring and then maybe longer,,,,waiting for my wife to get better after her stroke,,,might be awhile…
Hate to hear about your wife hope for speedy recovery. As for the jig look like a slab catcher to me. Where do you get the squirrel tail? I have never tried anything other than deer hair and hackle plenty squirrels here in the mountains but dk anything about the dying process.

Squirrel tail at BPS, or get them in the woods, or roadkill. That's a fox squirrel tail, not dyed.Quote:
