Another year gone. But we got in one last hooray. Met up with brother at Ebenezer and set off for a last Nitestalk of 21. After the cold weather where we caught fish in 45-50 fow we set out in record breaking temps. Water 56 when we splashed. Enough of a wind to keep us off the open water. So our old standby Torrence Creek was the ticket. Only 3 boats came through all evening. But figure this out. Brother anchored in 40 fow. He caught plenty of fish. We went on in and got near a brush pile in 18 fow. Bite wasn’t a fire drill but enough to make it fun. My boat caught 40 or better. Kept 26 for couple folks that asked for some fish. Several over the 1-2 lb. range. Early out as lightning was showing up. 9:15 we pulled our rocks and headed in with rain starting. Good plan again. Bout time we pulled out the gate bottom fell out. Had a great last nite out for the year. We gonna do more Nitestalks coming soon. If you want to try something a bit different come on out to the dark side! Only took one picture so I wouldn’t get busted by the photo patrol ! Attachment 415422
