I’m thinking about running power from the battery to an open toggle switch on my console and then on to the bow to connect to the Mega Live power cable. Thoughts? Recommendations?

Any switchable power connection that can handle to necessary amps will work. I added mine to the main power rocker switch which works out nice for me.
Just remember to turn switch on before powering up graph. Don’t ask me why but it was recommended in instructions.
Be patient on the graph to “find” the ML transducer to first time using. Make sure it’s outside so it can get a reading off heading sensor.
Don’t forget battery drain wire in power connections.
Post some pics or vids of install and fishing.
Mega Live and Mega 360 needs to be on a power switch as it drains power constantly off the battery if not turned off by a switch when not in use especially when boat is out of the water when stored.
What size fuse are you all putting on the mega live? I see some people have 3 and some have 5.
Everybody I have seen post and your HB instructions call for a 3 amp,,I’m using a 3 amp.
