NAUGHTY then Nice
The early/short-trip started out cold/damp/brisk Easterly-wind with rapidly falling tide but I wanted to try some low-traffic, weekday casting after dropping in a couple Pots for some ChrisTaceans because that's what you can do in FLORIDA!!:santa:highfive Realistically, I only had about 3 1/2 hours for light-tackle spinning rigors, so I had high-percentage areas in mind. First-cast:yikes yielded the tell-tale heavy(non-aggressive) take/fight that confirmed my FLOUNDER prediction!Attachment 414787 Nice 16" FLATTIE took the 1st ice-bath assignee. Throwback trout were fun but not worth braving the harsh conditions, so I motored on with time dwindling.Attachment 414788 My next/last stop was JACKPOT! Ten fish on ten casts! First was a nice 3 lb. Bluefish that gained its freedom on His side of the net!:Rofl But the trout were eating like they were @the LAST SUPPER!! and for my five-fish limit{one 21" trophy}...It was!Attachment 414789Attachment 414790
Headed slowly back to ramp with negative ebb-tide.nonono:deadhorse
Thanks for ridin'/readin'/reelin' 'til next time Merry Christmas!:santa

You are the master of the salt. Hard to beat flounder filets. Thanks for another great post and some awesome pics. Can't wait to go fishing with the master. Have a Merry and Safe Christmas.
