Went to Louie yesterday. Figured it might be the last warm day for a long time. Wind 15 mph. Nothing on usual structure. Crossing deeper water I got a bite large fish. Foolishly tried to swing it, and it came off. Caught 2 little ones same area, then nothing. Decided to check out a place I’ve only fished once. Long boat ride. Lots of fish on side and down imaging. Maybe Shad. Lots of leaves and trash on surface made it an effort. Caught one barely keeper. Hung up 3 of 4 rods. Got loose only losing one hook and a bit of line. Good to get out! Next time!!
