DK solo trip 11/9/21
Cuonthelake had a friend that wanted to go walking and looking at the beautiful leaves as they are nearing peak here where we live. So I had a day to go solo and I love it when I can call the shots without any pressure to put someone on fish. Grin.
I had a fun 4 plus hours and caught keeper fish on 3 of the docks that I fished. I tried a new area that I used to fish a lot but have been ignoring it for a long time. I mostly caught fish on BG Blue Ice and BG Mo-Glo Blue Ghost 1/16 oz jigs with chartreuse powder painted heads. The fish were near the bottom in 15 feet of water.
I got into the same school of little crappie that Candi and caught yesterday and it was a blast catching them. I did get a couple of keepers and a nice white bass as well. My shoulder was hurting me so badly all the time that I was fishing that I finally had to alter the way that I fish and stumbled onto a technique that I have never used before and it was producing better than my original technique. No, it wasn’t trolling. Lolol. I will use this again when conditions and shoulder demands it.

Awesume fish Drumking but ever since I've started reading your posts I keep catching your pet Drum. Actually I caught him and three of his buddies, one of which weighed 15 lbs. Am I cursed or just lucky? One thing about them though is when all the other fish have Lockjaw, the Drum are always hungry!
