I need to do the same, when my hands get cold I'm cold all over.
Bank fishing with minnows I use the catalytic hand warms. Fill them with fuel, light them drop them in the bag put them in your jacket pockets. Warm your hands and your body. I believe Zippo still makes some. I have some of the older ones. They also make rechargeable battery powered ones. I have not tried those
I have a rechargeable one that you can also use to charge your phone, but I really need a second one. It works well as long as you remember to charge it.

Those Grabber hand and foot warmer packs work pretty well. Tuck one in each glove on the back of your hand and it warms the blood where the veins are close to the surface. They make larger ones for the bottom of your shoes or boots. Academy and Wallyworld have them here.
A metal coffee can with a roll of toilet paper with the tube pulled out inside it, pour in a bottle of rubbing alcohol will burn a long time for a heater on the bank (or deer stand).
Done that one before works pretty well. You can buy those one quart cans pretty cheap. There are some made up in the shop.Quote:
