Gave them all a pardon
Took Allan fishing today behind the cold front . We got at the ramp it was 39 degrees this morning . Used Huckabee Trident to flip jigs on fish mostly on bottom around wood . I used 1/8 insert jighead 2.5'' Little Hustler in orange/chartreuse and he used 2'' purple/chartreuse Umbrella tubes .Winds were nice and calm just had to hold bait on them .Most were in 6 to 8' of water . We caught a few small ones and some dandy White Bass . We had 65 good crappie but released them all as we both have plenty in the freezer . Weighed a few but best couple went 1.89 and 1.98 lbs . Did not take any photos but it was a fun trip . Poor Allan was torn up just unhooking slab after slab watching them swim off . :biggrin

sometimes it is really nice knowing there isn't any fish to clean when the trip is done .
happens frequently on my adventures , makes me kind of happy sometimes .
sounds like a fun run to me for sure ,congrats

That's kinda what I tell myself (& the fish) that I'm doing on those days when I don't catch any, or don't catch enough to fool with taking home & cleaning. :Rofl
I'm like .... "I'm givin' ya'll a break, this time" :biggrin
