Town Creek at Guntersville State Park - Fishing Report 10/23
I went today for the first time in a while, so I figured I might as well check in with how things went if it helps anyone else.
Fished from the bank from 6-9 am and ended up with 13 keepers all in the 9-12 inch range. Threw back several more short fish. They were about 15 foot deep holding on the break line from the shoreline under the north side of the bridge. All caught on a BG Baby Shad in Threadfin Shad color. The bite was good from 6-8 then shut off. Baitfish all over, the 2 boats I saw fishing the columns were also catching fish. Fun outing and happy to get a mess for a fish fry soon!
I’ll try to remember to grab a pic of the fish when I clean them later and post it.
