Chickamauga Lake Oct 16
Got out for a couple of hours yesterday morning. Caught 7 crappie and 4 of them were keepers. The wind made it hard to fish my normal light tackle but was able to find one spot that I could still cast a feel a bite. Everything was caught on a bison trout magnet, black 1/24th oz light wire jig head and a white crappie nibble. Everything I caught was off two trees on about a 15 second count down before retrieval in 20 ft of water. Most of the fish marked were in 15-25 ft of water and most fish suspended at 12-15 ft. Water temp was 73-75 degrees. This will likely be my last post for a while. Welcomed our second child to the world this morning, so I don't see fishing in my near future.
