I have foldable readers I always have with me. Just bought two pair off Amazon.
Also, you can buy little “flip down” magnifiers that clip onto your hat. Most fly shops carry them.
Throw a pair in your tackle box or bag

Yup had to borrow my dads truck last weekend and I usually have my sunglasses in my truck. That's when I decided after being on the water all day to start keeping a pair in my kayak. Same should apply to readers, keep a pair in tackle bag.
Get a pair of magnetic readers! The ones that go around your neck and have 2 magnets on each side of the nose piece and just leave them hanging around your neck! That works the best for me! I do also keep backups in ALL my tackle boxes! Here is a link to Wish but I would also check amazon as I trust amazon more!

Once my eyes changed to the point of needing glasses I bought progressive lenses and have NEVER looked back. That said, back in my fly fishing days the flip downs on your hat are tough to beat. I also put a spare pair of cheapie readers in my tackle Fanny pack for backup.

WalMart sometimes carries the Polarized Sunglasses with readers built in for around 20 bucks. I really like them for tying on hooks and jigs.
My sunglasses are bifocals. Bought them on line for about $20! Now, when I go fishing, I am wearing my readers and sunglasses!! LOVE THEM!!
Hey Kokomo, where on-line did you find them?
Many choices out there. Here is the one that I used. Reading Sunglasses & Bifocal Sunglasses under $20 | Readers.com(R)
