We just upgraded a few months ago. We used an app called smartswitch. It links the old phone to the new phone and moves everything. Sure made things easier. It did not transfer passwords

I downloaded lg mobile switch to both units. Followed simple instructions and when I had transferred my data I pulled out the SIM card and put it in New phone. Works like it should. simple. My old lg phone is still decent. Instead of 900 I got this for 138.
