Always heard the cast iron makes everything better. We use it quite often. I preheated the skillet, sprayed it with cooking spray and loaded in the can biscuits. They came out very good

I use cast iron skillets everyday.
We use then a lot also.
I have a ton of cast iron and it cooks great!
I have a little long handled skillet. It doesn't have a name or any markings on it. It is the best little skillet that I have .
we use 2 on our stove top , they NEVER leave that area except for a rinse . the large one has a cast iron bacon press in it and they get used for just about EVERYTHING we do on the stove top ....
they rock and roll for sure , love them more than I can tell ya

We keep one on top as well. I have been using a forged steel lodge lately. A little thinner than cast iron, heats a little faster and cooks just like cast
Them biscuits be mighty tasty with a little apple butter or blackberry jelly. Cast iron skillet, real corn bread is hard to beat too. Most of ours are barn and yard sale finds (rough) brought back to life using electrolysis.
I found some homemade Black Rasberry jam earlier this summer that is TDF (to die for). Boy it would be better with a cast iron biscuit under it. :highfive
