1/24 oz ball head jig mold with no colar

Does anyone have a 1/24the ounce ball head jig mold that they'd part with? Does anyone know what size carbide ball burr that it takes to mill out a 32nd to a 24th? I really like 24ths to make hand ties. I use 32's to fish with plastic. I don't get enough casting distance from a 32nd hand tie. Those are the only 2 sizes I fish with. Since I can't find an 8 compartment 32nd mold, I'm considering milling out 2 compartments of my 8 compartment 32 to a 24.

I "think" I read that a 6 mm ball burr is what I need, but I can not find that again anywhere. I don't want to use a router bit like the guy from Weiss Lake on YouTube uses. I'll screw that up.

Have you checked out Dremel tools, to see if they have them?

Youtube has a video "Do-it Crappie Jig Mold Mod 1/32 to A 1/24 oz" by Kelly Mathews. He uses a 1/4" rounded router bit. Hope this helps you...

You have to be careful using the router bit, I did that and it came out like a sausage head. I went ahead and used them because it looked different. Fish did not seem to mind.

Not a bad idea but a little inconsistent to my way of thinking. The hook eye area is reduced a little by using the existing center of the cavity. If that is negligible then it’s a non issue. As for depth, I’d use a drill press and set the depth so they all came out the same. I had a Jacobs that I sold a while back as I just had no use for that size. They’re great molds, very tight tolerances.
