Absolutely when a fella is down to his last half dozen minnows and those critter move through.
at the one spot they will take a really big minnow on a really big hook , saw folks ketchn them steadily using gold crappie hooks and large minnows AND putting them RIGHT in the fish basket for the intrusion too ...:Rofl
Those were some nice fish right there - the pan was a real good size and must have been a tussle!

Nice Gills, no Yellow bass in my waters, but plenty of the White ones. I fished Friday and couldn’t buy a Gill bite, ours have disappeared somewhere. Plenty Crappie still biting but no Cricket Crunchers.
