our CEO/founder(04/'96) Slab frequently advocates, has unfortunately caused this digression, and I apologize for any displeasure to non-baseball fans.:banghead Cy Young, Roger Clemens, Randy Johnson, Dennis Eckersley, Ron Guidry, Pedro Martinez, Tom Seaver(RIP). Being from Baltimore, I must include Jim Palmer, Mike Cuellar, Steve Stone to the list of formidable "chuckers". Because of Ed's(Slab) Illinois heritage, I'm including Hall of Famer Hoyt Wilhelm(Bato. Orioles/Chicago White Sox). This incredibly adept knuckle-baller's ability:juggle had Balto. Oriole catcher, Clint Courtney, devise a special catcher's mitt that resembled a bushel basket! :Rofl Just like fishin', it's all about the catchin'!!:biggrin On a side note, I'll mention the infamous "Human vacuum-cleaner" (18 time All star/Hall of famer) third-baseman, Brooks Robinson, 84 yrs. young, is recovering well after breaking his left arm following a fall incident earlier this month. Now, back to fishing pitchurs...enjoy!

I am from Annapolis Maryland and followed the O's closely. I played third base in High School and my Idol was Brooks Robinson. You brought back old memories. Thanks.

Yes but the infamous announcer Chuck Thompson (Chucko) was another asset the O's and viewers were blessed to enjoy! One of his famous good-times quotes= Ain't the beer cold!Lol

I can still remember the headaches I suffered through from drinking National Bohemian Beer, while playing shuffleboard and eating steamed crabs as I watched the O's play ball.

A late friend had that stuff analyzed at a lab.
