8/7/21 on the water Union/ Cheramie Finally....

well finally able to take a trip out to my honey hole to test things out. morning was decent hit my usual honey hole caught 15 and kept 9 before 9:00, was super excited to catch my 2nd Magnolia striped sacaulait. then decided to switch locations to see if the union offered anything for the livewell. Union didn't offer anything up that day, with the heat i turned in at 11:00. all feesh caught under cork depth variable, shiner colored stinger shad except for the ditch pickle that was on a finesse worm which i must have hit him on the beak cause I'm horrible at bass fishing, i catch more bass on a sacaulait jig. Didn't set the world on fire, but enough to fill a quart size freezer bag is good day for me any day.

Very nice! Thanks for sharing. Most people have the opposite problem, bass are easy to catch and sac au lait are tough to catch.
