Christmas in July was
for me- Unannounced, but with plenty of "presents"!:yikes Yesterday, I once again had the blessed opportunity to choose the when, where and what factors of my "in search of" fishing agenda.:highfive Yesterday's freshwater venue with ultralite(2 lb braid/4 lb. mono leader) gear with 1/32 heads/2" plastic "rat tail shad". The 8 am leisurely-timed launch was somewhat of the day's catch forecast with baby stripers busting bait right @the ramp. Boat still on trailer, my 1st 4 casts w/pre-rigged rod yielded 3- <12" stripers & 1- 2 lb. lm, so I launched with added "energies" :cheers2 to see what would possibly end up in my next C.com post. A Florida limit(re. Christmas 25Dec) of 25 healthy, thick-shouldered combatants(11 - 15" w/closed-mouth):Rofl were ice-bathed for the drive home. These fish were easily, hands down, my pb quality crappie specimens. PLENTY (13's/14's) were photo'd with 4 quality fish that used the skinny line to their advantage(break-offs):banghead The day's temps. were uncomfortably HOT but soon became lost while reaching for the net. Top 7 fish weighed in @12#3oz.:ThumbsUp Top fish was 2#2oz. Thanks for reading/enjoy my Kodak moments- FYI- for the fish pic counters, like me, the 19 count pic was about mid-trip.:fish
Oh yes- my fish recipients hope that Christmas is changed to 12/31(re- possible new Florida limit ~ 31:Rofl)
