The Harbor Freight torque wrenches work as good as any other torque wrenches I own, and I have several. The price can not be beat.
As with any torque wrench, be sure to "Unload It" when you put it away, that is adjust the torque values down to the lower settings. I used to say "Zero It", but lots of torque wrenches don't go down to zero, and you could mess one up by trying to go below the scale of the torque wrench.
You can buy the Harbor Freight Torque Wrenches in quarter inch, 3/8", and 1/2" for what you would pay for just one of the big names.
Tekton or Harbor Freight will work.
Keep in mind that they are not accurate within the bottom 10% of their range, make sure to buy one that is sized appropriately for your application.
I have never used a torque wrench for spark plugs. Just do it by feel. If the plug has a crush washer, you'll feel it crushing the washer. If it doesn't, just turn it until it is good and snug and don't try to be a gorilla.
Put them in finger tight. Then turn in 3/4 turn to compress the washer.
