The rain has kept me from getting it for almost a week. Had the usual worms in it but that is a win for the chickens. Put up close to a 100 ears in the freezer, gave the neighbors and the family as much as they wanted and I still need to get the rest out of the garden. Those are some happy chickens right now.

Peaches and cream
Yum! Here in SE PA the corn is as high as an elephant’s eye. My wife and I have been jonesing for some and will be going out to our local farm. Might also be able to buy a few quality tomatoes. As far as preference, we both vote for the white. I find it to be crisper and a little sweeter than the bi or yellow. Right now I’ll take whatever they have. It is cut that morning and pre Covid you could shuck it right there. Now ya got me thinking!Quote:

It is pretty good. The little Bull dog sure likes when he can steal an ear and head to the shade with it. The deer and the chickens certainly have gotten their shares as well
Corn takes up too much room and is so available locally and cheapni don't bother with them. Tomatoes are my thing and they came in early and in abundance. Because of deer have small space fenced in so they won't jump in.Attachment 405826Attachment 405827
