It swam ,She swam, Mom swam, and I swam
It swam like a Jim Dandy :highfive
She swam like a 9 year old :highfive
Mom swam like a mom :Rofl
Dad swam like a fish
Now did the fish cooperate on the swim adventure , fair to good would be my answer .
I boated 108 crappie and one bass in 2.5 hours , so it wasn't like stupid good ,but it was not bad for sure .
Probably missed more than I hooked quite easily , them there summer fish sure can get subtle on the take .
That coupled with them there nasty natural tree brush piles and one gets all iffy on hook sets .
If not sure we kinda let them get away to avoid them there bone jarring hook sets into them big tree trunks :Rofl
Fish are still in short water at less than 10 feet and stacked up like cord wood all over the lake on anything cover related .
shad are still all on top in huge shoals everywhere you look on the surface of the lake .
The bite is best I can tell you all day long from sunrise to sunset and most likely at night as well .
Weather conditions don't matter much ,nor the temperature of the air and or water at this point .
Storm rolled in when we left and the lake was calm and not terribly crowded .
Used only 2 baits and both were in a version of white and the fish literally ate the eyes and paint off the jig head on It ( the handtie ) !
we did also ketch one small yellow cat and left after I joined the ladies for a swim ,post ketchn of said fisheez .
Good times for sure and in the end ...
that is my story and yes I am sticking it to them ....
KABOOM is always the word yawl :cheers2
