I have several times in my life , but it is easier with bait most of the time
used a bare gold wire hook for bream one day , was pretty darn deadly slowly drug along under a float ...:highfive

have done that with a gold hook on panfish when ran outta bait! LOL.

Personally I have favored the refrigerator white/chartruese crappie thunders last few years. would like to get those pearl white split tails as well as uneverknow man.

Where did you get the split tails at.

I have not seen anything like them in my looking around on the net
