We went below the dam yesterday evening after the rain subsided and had great luck on the crappie. Heavy water generation had the fish eager to feed on anything resembling a small shad. The best bite was with a slowly retrieved 1/16th ounce jig equipped with a pearl white Bobby Garland or “fast lane” colored Slab Magnet. Threw back a bunch of dinks and took home 18 fish, the best of them being in the 13” range. Total number caught was somewhere in the neighborhood of 50-60 crappie. Overall, it was another great day at Bagnell for the books. My apologies, but I forgot to take a picture!
