If you were to use two jigs, would you use different colors? It's an interesting question regardless of target species but this is actually for bedding bream. Simply trying to increase weight so it will cast farther.

There are other ways to increase cast distance becides adding another bait.

By using two jigs you would increase your chances of the fish biting your lure
I would opt for 2 different colors also
