Practice to get better
Was watching SKs live tonight on the internet, and the colors orange and chartreuse came up a couple times. I remembered the last time I was over at my usual fishing spot, I found a small orange and chartreuse tube jig body. So needing to practice my weaving skills, which I really don't have, I came up with these. The jig heads were some just laying on the bench, and just practicing, decided to use them. They're 1/16oz...Attachment 400926Attachment 400927Attachment 400928

Thank you guys very much, but we are our own worst critiques...lol.

Nothing wrong with those. Orange and chartreuse has always been a good combo for me as well. Ketchn Karrot is what I usually tie.

Dave could you show me this Ketchn Karrot. Don't think I have ever seen one. Thanks.

It's just orange head, orange body and chartreuse tail. Looks like a carrot. Found this old post on it. Man my jig head needed that Sally Hanson Hard as Nails....lol. Wow, looking back at stuff you can really critique yourself. Also found an old post on weaves I had done.

Thanks Dave. thought maybe that Ketchn's Karrot was a weaved jig. My bag. Those weaves look awesome man. Great work for sure. Thanks for the link to FAOL too. Looks like I'll be spending some time on their.

I don't usually do weaves for fishing jigs. Only when playing around or show. I don't think the fish care. If I wanted to do a quick two tone I would just wrap one chenille like normal then pull the second color chenille over it to front and tie off. Patrick has a good video on this. It's much quicker and has a two tone effect also.
