Playing Hooky LOZ 5-6-2021

Christopher and I I trolled crankbaits on the lower end and had a great day. The bite was kinda sporadic but we ended up with 30 for the dinner table. He had a hard time paying attention when a fish hit so I was calling out the play and he'd spring into action. The baits used were an Arkie/splatter back, Flicker Shad/blue tiger, Fat Free Guppy/ chartreuse blue back, and Bandit 300/ chartreuse shad. Follow Up Report LOZ 5/7/2021....Crappiejoe12 and I teamed up for another great day. Went to a familiar stretch and the bite was slow but when one bit more than likely it was a nice fish. We caught 15 (all blacks) with a cork and minnow close to the bank. We then headed out to deeper water and trolled cranks and it didn't take long to finish up two limits. Crappiejoe12 busted his butt and almost fell in the lake and I almost lost my entire trolling set up in the deep, but we managed to get back without injury or lost equipment; even after an eight mile ride back to the condo where we caught air a couple times. I'm about to try cranks on Stockton. Thinking numbers may be the ticket for next weeks Crappiemasters
