Limestone Kayak Report - 05/1
I fished Limestone today from 12:30PM to about 4. I didn’t catch very many, but can confirm crappie do still exist there!
I caught 1 crappie around 13 inches, a nice bluegill, about a 1 pound spotted bass and a small stripe.
All but the bass were caught on a 1” orange and chartreuse slider with a 1/16” spinner.
I also saw about a 7 foot gator in the 1st pit. He was a good fishing buddy as some people would say!
Lastly, I saw at least 4 snakes and 2+ were definitely cottonmouths.
I ended up releasing everything. Overall a nice day and glad to have a chance to get out there!
