Anyone ever put in at Ditto and then troll back up Aldridge Creek?
Seems like it would be a good place for Crappie, bream or bass to bed down in off Wheeler / TN river.
Thanks

I've never got on the Crappie, but it's a great spawning area for bass, gill and shellcracker. About half way up everything is four to five foot or less and above Hobbs Island Road it's three foot or less with a rocky/gravel bottom. All it takes is a small rain to blow everything out, but it clears quickly.
When you first come off the river the water is deeper, found crappie close to the bank under the shade trees to the west several times. Never a limit, but a few deep working a 1" slider. I found Shellcracker stacked up in the same area one late winter/early spring looking for Crappie. Kept a limit and returned a hundred more, all on 1" sliders. Kind of crazy, but fun. There's a post on here somewhere about it.
