Crappie in Jordan ?

Went Sunday thinking crappie are near bank. Everyone on facebook n.c. crappie are posting fish are in 1-2 fow. Fished with jigs, minnows and couldn't buy a bite in 1,2,3,4 or 5 ft.of water?
What's going on? Are fish not in shallow water yet?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I think they have come and gone. All we could find on on Saturday on Falls were a few males left in the shallows. Be interesting to see what others have found.
