Happy Birthday to us....WE are 25 years old today. Crappie .com was born on 4/11/1996 in Ed Moes basement in Illinois. That was when he bought and registered the domain name. Many years later ED now lives in Florida and the site server has moved from Illinois to Michigan. Great website and going strong thanks to good members. Thank you Ed for your VISION and Crappie.com and for allowing me to play a small part in it. Attachment 398392

Happy Birthday Crappie.com. What a wonderful site full of wonderful members. What a blessing it is to have this site dedicated to crappie fishing although it’s so much more than just that. Thank you Ed for your wisdom in starting this website and thank you to the wonderful moderators for helping police and maintain it. Together this is many people’s oasis in the desert of the world.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Dance a “jig” then dosey doe an “inline spin” or if you dare dip your “minner” in celebration of this site that’s a winner. Thank you to all who contribute and have contributed to make the 25 year old site we enjoy today.

Gonna have hats to commemorate its birth in 1996. Almost as important as our countries birth in 1776. Well, maybe not. But it’s on the list somewhere at least.
