Lake Norman

I know it’s REAL early for this question but here we go. How is the crappie fishing in the first part of October on lake Norman. Me and the family have a house rented on the lake the second week in October and was wondering if it is worth bringing the boat with us.

It can be some of the best fishing of the year. I like that Month, boat traffic is starting to die down on cool days. Usually find fish on docks and brush.
