Coming down in May to fish the crappie masters event out of west Monroe. Never been, not finding anything on the interwebs as far as places to stay. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Lake Darbonne state park is not that far from west monroe and they have some really nice cabins and some good fishing too.

As Shadow said Lake D'Arbonne State Park is the place to stay. It is near Farmerville, LA, 30 miles NW of West Monroe. Better reserve soon, however, as the cabins fill fast.
