Finally!
Went out with the trout magnet this afternoon, started tossing it after I was catching a few with worms.
Got about a dozen between both techniques over the course of 90 minutes. For a little while I was getting a bite on every cast. I need to get better at reacting properly, out of habit from life bait I keep wanting to wait a second when I get a strike.
My word I’ve been doing it wrong all these years! So much more exhilarating. Attachment 396282Attachment 396284Attachment 396282

Very nice! The TMs work well. Nice color on the second fish!

Nice catches. You be snatching them up like an expert in no time!

I spent this morning with some of their cousins, most were small though. A good one now and then keeps you coming back. Nice fish and a good time!

Now take that Trout Magnet out to the public waters and hold on... it catches most anything that swims!

Had the day off, so I went back for about four hours this afternoon.
Caught just over 20 fish, most of them on the same TM. Most were small, best catch of the day was a largemouth on a worm.
The last hour I spent at what I had always assumed was just an overflow from one of the other ponds. I had heard there were fish in it, and I had great luck with the jig. As to be expected, most of them were pretty small.
I did try a spinner bait and rattle trap, trying to target the bass. No luck.
Another great afternoon. I’m hooked on these jigs!Attachment 396448Attachment 396449Attachment 396450Attachment 396451Attachment 396453Attachment 396452
