I know someone has to be slaying them yesterday and today. I can’t go but at least tell me a good fishing story!

Unfortunately I've been stuck at work during this great weather looking out the window at the river and watching boats go by.. then of course when I get off, they are predicting 5 inches of rain lol. I do know a few guys that have been the past 2 days on wheeler. The high water had the fish hiding I guess lol, they caught a few but nothing like what was catching before all the rain/snow/ice.
At least I’m not tortured with being by the river to see it. Lol

Thought the same thing on the way to the truck for lunch today. Funny how it seems to work 75% of the time with fishing and hunting. Fantastic weather when you can't go and terrible weather when you can.
Well Damion Kid, while the Alabama river isn’t bad the Tombigbee is killing us down south here. Water will be why out in woods till after Sunday. Got the fishing fever bad. But it want be long now.

Working :banghead and traveling for work this weekend. :banghead, :banghead
I got out Tuesday on Gville. Found several small schools in open water. Ended up catching 13 with my boy. Very light bite and lost several more.
The wife and I are actually taking a little mini vacation this weekend through Monday in Guntersville. Staying at a cabin up near Honeycomb. I am bringing my gear and plan on trying to get out in the mornings if there is some breaks in the rain and provided the lake isn't a complete mess. I may need to bring my catfish gear in case it is high and muddy and I still want to go.
I’ve been trying to think of a good bridge I could anchor under just so I can go. Lol
