Lake suggestions
My brother and I are planning a trip mid March. We prefer to single pole and shoot boat docks. As my name suggests, I used to enjoy trolling but not so much anymore. I’m looking for suggestions on best lakes to shoot docks/single pole. I’m in north Alabama and my brother is in central Alabama. Guntersville and Weiss are Great Lakes but we have fished them several times so we are looking elsewhere. Any advice would be appreciated. I’m not asking for any spots, we can locate crappie. The lakes don’t have to be in Alabama either. I’m bringing the camper and my brother is bringing the boat. Thanks guys.

Neely Henry or Lake Martin.
Or ya'll could come to spring camp March 26-28 and fish Lake Wedowee.

Neely Henry is on top of our list and we both really want to fish Wedowee but we can’t make camp this year unfortunately. Thanks for the reply.

Logan Martin for dock shootin.

Docks, Neely Henry or Logan Martin. Single pole, might as well load up and head to Grenada or Lake Washington.

if you wanted to venture a little north, tims ford in Winchester tn has lots of docks and nice campgrounds as well

If you come to Neely I can put you on fish either way, single pole or docks but the docks will be better that time of year. Send me a pm if interested.

If you come down around montgomery, lake Jordan is good, and the Alabama River from there to Selma is great.

Also i hear lake wedowee is good for numbers of fish just not big ones. Plenty of docks

Grenada is also high on the list but I was told it was a trolling bite there. I thought it was a very shallow lake with scattered fish. Please enlighten me, we would love to single pole Grenada.
