As I was keaving last Sunday a fellow asked "you got a lock on your trailer?" He said 2 trailers were stolen and several windows were broken by thieves. Take care and be on the lookout for skullduggery.

Thanks for the warning Bullsprig, I haven't been putting a lock on my trailer but I will start.;)
That is one of the things I like about this site, you can post a message and it gets across to alot of people and from them to their buddys.
I don't lock mine either, but its so ugly that if they stole it, it would be to bring to a scrap yard...lol..... Thanks for the warning.
lots of scrap being sold. Don't disregard the possibility.
also weld the ball on the reciever or they will just unbolt it and put your ball on their hitch and drive off.
Sad but things are prone to being stolen or vandelized on boat ramps and parking areas. Thanks for warning folks cause lots never had any trouble like that and are unprepared.
Sounds like the locals are at it again. I hadn't heard of any problems lately, but that same thing has happened many times before. You'd think that as many people that have been out there lately that it wouldn't be as likely to happen, but you never know. I have no tolerance for thieves!
I keep my trailer locked at all times. Even when unhooked it is locked in the down position so it cannot be placed on a ball. Around here the meth-heads will steal anything. grizzly
Thanks for the heads-up.
