TenRyu Rayz Spectra.
I have caught dozens of fish on this rod now......all of them trout. It is certainly a keeper. Casting accuracy is superb as well as casting distance. The rod is way more sensitive than I thought it would be. The rod is a ton of fun even on the stocker trout yet you do not feel under powered in current. The past few days I have been throwing a 2.8 gram Forrest Abalone spoon I got from Chris. This rod now gives me something I have been missing out on for a long time....that jolt you get when a fish hits a hard bait. It is an absolute ball. Today I had 36 trout in 3.5 hours...it was a slow day. As many of you know I rarely ever fish on a weekend. But after this past week of using the rod with the spoon I just could not stand to stay home. Just can’t say enough good things about the rod. I did use the Diplomat Extreme today also.....switching back and forth. Made for a fun day. Now...about the Forrest Spoon. I have bought quite a few JDM lures.....most of them have been micro plastics. Only a few of the micro plastics have worked out for me....the few hard baits I have bought are all very good. If you are a trout fisherman I can tell you the Forrest spoon is the real deal. Now in full disclosure even though I highly recommended this lure in my last video, before I posted that video I bought out all Chris had except I think for 1. I was only able to get a total of 7 of the 2.8 gram but was able to acquire some in the 4 gram range. I am sure he will get some more in stock....I hope he does as I want some more....LOL. As soon as I can get the vaccine I will be making plans for a lot of Arkansas fishing.
Regards

Nice looking bows. I wouldn't consider one trout every six minutes a slow day. I haven't had a chance to use my Diplomat yet due to crappy weather here. I don't use spoons very often but have a bunch of blanks that weigh 1/20 and 1/16 oz. that I painted and have been using #6 Gamakatsu B10S Stinger hooks.I had a couple good days last year using them. Water was clear and I'd see a trout follow and would let it drop and on the fall they would hammer it.

Enjoyed the video with the spoons and the Tenryu. Did you talk about the line used?
