Has anyone crossed either creek after the rains? I know the north side of wheeler below decatur has a lot of color, according to the tva app they will be holding for a few days. Clearing up will be slow.

I will cross flint on my way home and check it out. It was rising and the color of weak tea yesterday
I crossed Flint Creek on HWY 31 yesterday afternoon and it was chocolate milk. Didnt look appealing at all. One boat at the ramp at Flint on hwy 31.
Looks like this weekend will be a search for clear water.
thanks guys, good water may be hard to find
Fwiw Flint was about like coffee with creamer in it yesterday. I went and fished a spot off 31 between Hartselle and Decatur.
Cotaco is also muddy and current was rolling when I went across Sharps Ford bridge this morningSent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G530A using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
DK sorry it took me so long to reply. But no, I didn't do any good on that trip. I've been catching a few at another spot on Flint Creek west of 31, not many keeper sized fish though. I'm currently waiting on the water levels to come back up and temps to rise, there's a little secret honey-hole I found last Spring that held some nice fish during March. It's about 3-4 foot low for that spot to hold any fish right now though and water temp is way too cold.
