I have a camp on Lake Lafourche. It's an OK lake. I've been there 3 years. My first fishing trip on the lake produced 24 PIGS. I've never had a day like that again. LOL. I spider rig when I fish there. My next door neighbor tightlines and he does well. He's been catching a few fish the last couple of months, but they are extrememly small, which bodes well for the future. It's a wonderful community and if he likes to hunt, the Bouef WMA is right there. Woolen lake is about 5 miles away as well as the Bouef River, which usually turns on in the warm months. Then there is Horseshoe Lake about 20 miles away. So, there are plenty of places to fish. I love it.
