That's what my doctor did. My dermatologist found a Squamous cell cancer on my neck. So, today he cut it out. Six stitches. All those days fishing in the sun caught up with me. Not looking for symphathy, just want to pass on to all my friends the danger from the sun. I now have one of those socks which covers my neck up to my eyes.Attachment 392327

Glad you got it cut out, I've had several removed from top of my head (mostly bald) and the back of my hands. Sounds like we both started a little late with protection

Glad to hear your doctor caught it in time and took care of it. I just got checked myself for skin cancer... and was pleased (even somewhat surprised) that I was all clear.

I have had over 100 basil cell cancers cut or burned off my body, plus 2 Melanomas, of course I do all the right things now, but it is to late for me, I get inspected every 6 months.
The only known cure for what ails you is to get out there and catch a few more.
