I was 2 polling crappie dead stick style
we drifted a bit off course into shallower water
around 13 foot deep
rod one in left hand gets a peck peck and i miss it
not good lefty is me
rod 2 in my right hand gets a thump as we move slightly to the left
i dont miss near as many with my right hand
sure was pretty little thing in such ccccold water :highfive

When I was younger we used to wade a particular creek. Catch those red eyes with a 1/32 vibram rooster tail. Usually end up in the tripple digit range before they would beat the hooks off that rooster tail.

Great pic, for sure, congrats!
i might mention that even though i tried to capture just how magnificent its coloration was , it was some what of a fail .
the fish had a rainbow look to it in real life and was even more colorful than the photo image .
