Looking for a 10 to 25 hp electric start, short shaft, tiller outboard. Preferably Mercury cuz I got a super mechanic, but will see what turns up. Mr moderator, please don’t move this to the classified ads cuz I’m not prepared to leave the state for one and shipping is just nuts. So if you have something that might fit the bill powerwise, please send me a pm and thanks in advance.
I have a 9.9 electric mercury and a 25 yahama electric both I got new and were about same price. I had a 25 on Jon boat had to trade a a 6 month old one to dealer to get 9.9 as my home lake has 9.9 motor limit. that dealer sold my used one for more then what I paid
I missed the speed for other lakes so bought a new 25 yahama last year. I went yahamha as their new 25 is about 130 lbs and has a flush port that doesn’t require motor to be running also has rpm switch to slow troll crank baits at 1.7 mph
25 is an awesome motor pushed my aluma craft 16 crappie Jon at 24mph. The 9.9 gets me to 8mph
i got them new to avoid maintenance issues
