Into the Fog
We took a trip down Dunn's Creek to Crescent Lake Sunday. It was blue skies all the way down the creek until we got to the mouth Crescent . as we rounded the last bend it was nothing but a thick fog like driving into a horror film. We slow down and then proceed in, i'm checking my map for a waypoint, visibility dropped to maybe 25 ft at best.. I had 4 young girls on the pontoon, it was eerie and spooky...this was at 11:30 and it didn't lift till around 1...did manage to land a few, but it seems we found the dinksAttachment 390758Attachment 390759Attachment 390760

It may have been slow going for awhile, but you got fish. good going.

A good day with the girls, but you missed your opportunity. Should’ve got going good into the fog and screamed at the top of your lungs, those girls would’ve lost it!! Glad you had fun and found some fish, they’ll remember it for a long time.

Oh...we didnt miss that fun Skeetbum...there was mention of "The Crescent Monster", alligators that love to hunt in the Fog, ...better record this in case we never make it out like the Bermuda triangle, ... We probably scarred them for life..

We had a Crappie fest a few yrs ago up there on Crescent, w/same fog conditions, scarious part was the bass boats buzzing around at full throttle trusting their electronics, glad it was uneventful from a safety aspect....but great fun for the Family to get out & that you guys put fish in the boat....
