Weiss

Me and a buddy went and fished Weiss yesterday. Caught some in 20ft of water vertical jigging around some standing timber. They were about a foot off the bottom. Also caught some shooting a pier that I’ve caught them on before. I found it odd that they held to that pier considering it was only 3-4 foot deep. The surface temp was around 49 degrees and the fishing was slow but glad to have caught some keepers and a giant white bass.

Fishing has picked up a lot, the fish are running about the depth that you mentioned spider rigging the river. Good job this has been a terrible year here on Weiss.
