Going with the family to stay in a rent house for the weekend on Beaver Lake near Coppermine Lodge. Its on the South side of the lake. I've never fished Beaver Lake and was thinking about pulling the boat to give it a shot. Not looking for detailed spots, just wondering if someone familiar with the Lake could give me an idea if it would be worth pulling the boat 3 hours and going in blind this time of the year? Thanks

It’s a great time to be fishing Beaver. No traffic and the fish are biting! I’d say bring the boat.

Well I gave it a good shot this morning but didn't have any luck. I did get to see some nice new territory and found some fish on some structure but they were sucked up tight to it and couldn't get them to bite. Thank you everyone for the help and info. I enjoyed it other than it being a little raw out there!
