Reelfoot Lake GPS boat lanes
20 years ago, I took a couple of trips down to Reelfoot Lake with my dad and uncle. We stayed at the Eagles Nest and rented their boats, which I used to smoke several stumps as fast as the 9.9hp motor(maybe it was only a 5hp) would go.
Despite this being a bit startling, we had a fantastic time and I'd like to take my own family back.
I have my own boat now, decked out with livescope/360/livewell/bimini top, etc. and would have a hard time going back to a barebones rental. I run 10" Helix G2N graphs for Navigation and have Lakemaster and Navionics chips for them that cover Missouri. I'm not afraid to buy other chips for the different regions.
I would like to know if there are any GPS chips available that would show the boat lanes, not just the bottom contours. I remember watching guides take off at full tilt in the morning and they never seemed to hit stumps, while we'd hit them regularly. It would be ideal if these took into account the water level, but I'm all ears regardless.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
