Sold mine 13 Years ago, wish I still had it.
Here is a video of the boat I had built. Many good brands out there but don’t overlook mom and pop boat builders. This boat has a .125 hull and if you want they make one with a .190 hull. It literally is built like a tank. You’re gonna get wet at speed...no way around that. If you don’t have a suspension seat up front it will kill your back running down the lake at speed. Had I not installed the suspension seat I would have sold it in less than a month. Now it rides great. I probably won’t buy another boat but if I did I would still get a stick....it would be 18 feet long with a 70 or 72 inch bottom.

I had an older ranger tri hull with stick steering. Had a seat in the front and one in the back livewell in the middle. Great boat to fish out of. Only down side was sitting in the front made for a rough ride on windy days.
Craigs list you can find good stick steers, found my there. How to drive a ways. I looked this week and there are some individuals with boats at a fair price.
It does.....I tried to get them to build it without it but they wouldn’t do it.

I have a 17’ Xpress and really like it. The Xpress has a v hull so the ride is pretty good as long as the wind is not to bad. The old flat bottom stick steer is bad rough.
Hope your kidneys like to take a beating.
