Wateree 11-13-20
Got a early start this morning about 4:30. When we got down to Jimmy Jones place at 5 AM, we saw that he had changed his opening time. Now, its 6 AM.
We had 3 dozen shinners so we hit the road to wateree. Put in at colonels creek at daylight. Ran out the main channel & started fishing down rods. Marked fish at 12 to 15' so we dropped lines to that depth. Caught a couple & missed several.
Ran down the lake a little ways. Dropped lines in again caught a couple more. For some reason, we missed about 10 more.
Ended up with 5 strippers.
Water came up about 2 to 3' from daylight till about 11:30.

Thanks for the report Mr. Charles.
Hate y'all missed some, but
Glad y'all got to fish some.
Guess I'll have to wait until next weekend to get on the water somewhere. Still wanting to try Fishing Creek and Monticello soon. Then hit Wateree some more.

Time to sharpen some hooks. I think trolling you miss less fish, but even that doesn't stop the short bites.
Thanks for the report, hope the water clear up in the next week

Stripers are biting good. Hope this rain doesn’t mess them up.

Went down on the 7 and caught near the limit but the bass boats were awful blowing by you full speed and only 20 feet away, caught most after they quit. Did know Jimmy was still open, he told us that he was retiring when hunting season started, will have to stop by and see him. Did he not have honor system working early? We plan to go down for a few days later this week.

I think he tried the honor system but gave up on it.
